Alumna Impact Project

November 15, 2017

Jasmine Jin, a 2009 alumna of All Seasons, returned to her alma mater to work on her high school’s community service impact project.

For this assignment, Jasmine had chosen to recognize the tremendous dedication and hard work that the members of the Arcadia Fire Department demonstrate each and every day to keep the city’s residents safe.

Jasmine decided that a great way to show our community’s appreciation to the department would be to have the All Seasons Kindergarten class make their own special “thank you” cards for the firefighters.  So, one afternoon, she came to the school and provided each of the children with a template for their personalized thank you cards.  The children decorated the cards and wrote their own words of gratitude and encouragement to the firefighters.

Just before Thanksgiving, Jasmine personally delivered the cards to the firefighters at the Fire Department Headquarters. In her own words, “The project was very successful and they were all absolutely delighted to read them and match their hands with the kids' hand turkeys.”

We are very pleased and proud that Jasmine asked the school to be part her wonderful project!
